Disney
We took Harrison and Matthew to Disney over spring break and we are all had a good time. John got braces 2 days before we left so that was a little interesting but things went better than we expected, John and I are not Disney type of people.
Matthew LOVED the rides Harrison was not as sure. He did not want to get on anything but once the ride was over he said most of them were fun.
My poor baby looks just miserable.

Sea World
Harrison was SO Excited to spend the day at Sea World, but it was SO HOT. He LOVED the shows and all the birds.
I think he had fun.... well after we got over the problem of having a loose tooth. Not long after we entered the park he bit into snack and his first loose tooth began to bleed and hurt. He was ready to leave after 30 minutes of being in the park. We were headed to see Shamu and he said after that show he wanted to go so we changed our plans to see that show last. After a new stuffed animal and a little meltdown he was good to go.
During the Shamu show Harrison wanted to sit in the splash zone so I let him go down a few more rows and he got good and wet he was in heaven.

Atlanta
This past week John had a class in Atlanta for several days and a hotel so we tagged along. The hotel severed a free breakfast and even snacks in the evenings that we made our dinner and a kitchen in our room so we packed snacks and lunches so we would not be spending a fortune on meals. We did have subway one day for lunch and one dinner out our last night but not too bad for a 4 night stay. While John sat in a class all day Harrison and I enjoyed the sights. On the first day we went to the Natural History Museum and Harrison loved it. I LOVE that he enjoys learning so much. It was nice because it was not overly crowded which means we have time to sit and read every sign and learn all we can.
Animals, dinosaur bones, and shells some of his favorite things.
Then the second day John took the car keys with him by mistake so we went to Legoland since it was close to the hotel and we did not have the car. I thought this would be a 2-3 hour trip. I was wrong!!! 7 1/2 hours we were at Legoland and I don't think he ever really played with legos.
For over 4 hours he made cars and raced them. He played and played and I sat and sat. He had a blast and I was glad to get to do some last minute fun things with him before school starts.
Then the 3rd day we headed to the aquarium. He was SO EXCITED and it was SO CROWDED. I thought this is where we would be for hours and hours but since it was so crowded he could not just sit and read all the information and ask lots of questions so we went through it pretty fast. We still had a great time.
This aquarium had 4 touch pools which is always a hit with Harrison.
And he REALLY Like all the sharks.

John has been out of town SO MUCH, like in the past month and a half he has been home a total of 7 nights. So it was nice to at least see him in the evenings and for Harrison and I to get to see some new things. These are the things I am SO GOING TO MISS when school starts in a couple weeks. I LOVE doing these type of things with him.

New York - Like a Kid in a Candy Store
Harrison was a champ taking tours and walking and walking and walking while we were in New York City. So we made sure we made a few stops that he would LOVE too. The M&M store is right in Times Square and was Harrison's favorite part of the New York Trip.
Three stories of M&M's what's not to love? Can't you tell he was just in Heaven. The candy was not a cheap treat but we let him get a sweet treat.
And we had to stop at FAO Schwarz...
And it did not disappoint it seemed to go on and on forever. The "toy" solider was fun too.
There was LOTS of candy, angry birds, toys, rocks, and stuffed animals. He could have stayed forever. There was even a "spiderman" there but Harrison was scared to go see him.
Legos of all kinds and things made out of legos too.
The highlight of this stop was the BIG Piano. Harrison had a blast and got to play for a few minutes which was a good way for him to get rid of a bit of energy.
The Next two Pictures are from the Toy's R Us also in Times Square. These two things were pretty cool but the store was dark and dirty we were not overly impressed.
