Beach time

This summer Mom and I took Harrison to the beach and Sea World. We just LOVE LOVE LOVE The beach. Harrison asks almost daily when we are going to the beach. I think I need a beach house.

Bermuda Part 1

 We are Blessed to get the travel the world with John's work. This year's trip was 7 nights in Bermuda and 3 nights in New York City. So there will be several posts about these cool trips. Harrison was SO EXCITED to go to the beach and to New York.  I had some camera issues So all of these pictures are from my phone so they are not the best, but I don't want to forget anything.

 Harrison LOVED the beach. swimming, playing in the sand, building sand castles, and looking for rocks and fish. We were able to to see LOTS of different types of fish and crabs which he thought was just grand. And it is so nice that he is old enough now that he can be a little independent in the water. I think I could sit on the beach for weeks.

Destin... Public Beach

Our last day in Destin we headed out to a public beach to play in the waves.

Destin... Condo Beach

Our Condo had a boat shuttle that took us over to a little beach all our own. And in the morning we had it all to ourselves it was so nice.

Harrison HAS to dig a BIG HOLE first thing when we get to the beach and plays in it all day. He is so much fun.

In the morning there were lots of crabs and the boys had great fun collecting him.

we keep them in a bucket of water for a while so Harrison could watch them.

Then before we headed back in for lunch Harrison lined them up for a RACE to see who would get back to the water first.

How fun is this.

Destin.... Evenings

John and I even got to head out alone one night which is a treat.

The boys feed gators at Fudpuckers, Harrison LOVES to feed anything so this was a treat for him.

And when you are at the beach you HAVE to have ICE CREAM EVERY NIGHT, it is a rule right?

A few days in Destin ... the Condo

This is where we spend a few days in Destin. We enjoyed our get away and here is a little of what the Emerald Grande had to offer

John's parents went with us and we all had plenty of room.

I so miss a big bath tub.

there were lots of shops and little places eat down on the Harbor Walk.

What's Summer without the BEACH!!!

Harrison and I went to Hilton Head this week with my Mom. We LOVE the beach and wish it was not so far away. We spent the week looking for fish...

Playing in the waves...

running and laughing...

finding treasure in sea shells...

digging in the sand...

digging our feet into the sand...

getting a little wet and sandy...

playing during sunset...

and guarding sand castles...

These have to be the best days of my life....

We had a great trip but missed John something horrible... but we are home now and enjoying a few days at home
