Snow Day fun with Friends

We have had a LOT of snow this winter and a LOT of snow days so we are trying to make the most of them.  Here is a little sledding fun.

 We have a street in the back of our neighborhood that still does not have house on it and it a long curvy hill but it was too steep so they did not get too much speed. They were able to sled about a forth of mile down the road.

 John enjoyed himself too.

 My job was to drive them back up the hill.

 Harrison said it was extreme!!!!

Visting friends

Over fall break we went back to Murfreesboro to visit sweet friends. We miss this family so much, they were our next door neighbors and our best friends in Murfreesboro. we ran errands together, watched each other's  children, shared many meals and many fire pits together.    We will never have neighbors like them again

Summer Fun

 We love enjoying time with friends and what's better than a 50 feet slip and slide? Harrison, Jack, Ben, Will, and Rose had a big time.

Zoo trip #1 2013

 School is out and we are ready for SUMMER so we meet Angie, Matthew, James, Stephaine and Malachi at the zoo for the day. Harrison is ALWAYS up for a trip to the zoo.

Blogging Friends

This week my friend and co-blogger came to visit for a few days. We had so much fun working on our Foodie blog Recipes We Love . We had Lots of fun workin on our blog and planning things for the futrue.

Friends

Last week we had some sweet friends come to play for a couple days and we had a blast. The kids all got along so well and had so much fun. This is what is so wonderful about this season of my life. I know things will be so different once school starts in the fall things will be changing so much but we are loving every minute we have until then. 

Just cruising

We SO love our street. There is always at least 6 kids out playing. This picture is at the end of our driveway and you can see the rest of the street. This small  street has dozens of kids. This is what Harrison will remember for a lifetime. We are SO BLESSED

Got mail

Harrison got this package in the mail last week in the mail, from Mr. Mike. This little joke began at a tractor pull where Harrison kept eating Mr. Mike's popcorn. Harrison did give Mr. Mike a cheese stick and a fruit leather in return for the popcorn. Then a few weeks ago we had a birthday party to go to and we thought Mr. Mike might be there so Harrison had to take a bag popcorn with us to give to Mr. Mike, and now we get this in the mail... We will have to find another "prize" to send Mr. Mike's way.

Friends

 Last week we spent some time visiting some dear friends. Above is Madison our old neighbor and Harrison misses here SO MUCH.

 We had dinner with Stephaine and Wes, dear friends. And we got to see lots of friends at our old church on Wednesday night.

 We stayed with friends and had a blast. Harrison and Ashton got along really great.

Harrison also got to spend the afternoon with one of his oldest buddies, Paul. They were SO excited to see each other.

After our trip in our old hometown we headed to visit my parents and more friends, but it seems I did not get the camera out of the car while we were there.

Party Boy

 Last week Harrison decided it was time for a party. He had just gotten his new basketball goal so he wanted to have a ball party..... Well it rained most of the day so we pulled out craft stuff for inside. We did play basket ball for a few mins at the end of the "party". Since it was a "party" we had to make decorations, and food :) Harrison had a LONG list of food to have but I talked him into just having chocolate popcorn and fruit and veggies :) He is so Funny.

Flower

Last weekend Harrison had a birthday party for the 4 year old girl down the street. When I told him about the party he said "I wish it was summer so I could pick her some flowers." So  we got a little gift and a single pink rose. How sweet is this boy?

Roomies

Some of my college roomies and I try to get together a couple times a year and since all our kiddos are close to in age and get along really well so we bring them all along for ride.

and while the kids have fun I am sure the mamas have even more catching up and picking up right where we left off. And this time we pulled out the old photos and all decided we wish we could at least get our bodies back that we had 10 plus years ago :)

What a Difference a Day Makes

 So Yesterday we played OUTSIDE in huge water puddles with Friends... NO Coat, and water up to the kids knees.

 And TODAY SNOW... Harrison was SO excited he has been waiting and dreaming of snow... sure it is just a dusting but he was SO EXCITED.

 He collected all he could in hope I would make the dirty snow into snow cream when I said no he put it in the freezer to save it. I LOVE this boy.
