First Grade

First day of first grade

How in the world is Harrison this big and in first grade. 

He wanted to get a picture with both of the dogs but that does not seem to go over too well. But he has fun trying.

 Last day of school, we now have a 1st grader.

 Bowling party to end the year.

 Then off to graduation.

First day of school at LCA

This is Harrison before his first day at his new school. Kindergarten 2nd semester. Since we don't know where we are going to land in terms of a house we have put him in a private school. Harrison is enjoying only having school half a day but NOT the uniforms. The Transition has been good, he only has 8 kids in his class and he really likes his teacher.

Last Day Of School at McFadden

Harrison's Last day at Mcfadden was so busy he did not have time to get sad about leaving. All three kindergarden classes have been collecting supplies to donated to a local charity that aids families in need. So we loaded it all up and walked it down to Room in the Inn. 

Then it was Christmas Party time which is always fun... at least for the kids and all his buddies got to tell him goodbye. 

 He will miss his buddies and Teachers in Mrs. Burgess's class and we pray that  he loves his new school as well.

 Last week the kindergarten classes sang Christmas songs at our local Barnes and Noble. They made the cutest little reindeer hats to wear.

Friendship Feast

Harrison, Maddox, and Andy at the Friendship feast at school. Each child brought a bag of their favorite snack and they mixed it all together and shared with all three classes. They also got to pick if they  wanted to be an Indian or Pilgrim. 

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

 We enjoyed a day at the Pumpkin Patch with the rest of the Kindergartners from McFadden.

 Corn mazes, pumpkins, and friends.... good times.
