Graduation

This past week was Harrison's last week of preschool and graduation. He was SO EXCITED about gradation and I think the thought it was going to be a much bigger production than it was. But it was a good day. Mama even head up better than expected. This going off to school in the fall is very HARD for this Mama... I am just NOT READY for an empty house all day. BUT we are so PROUD of Harrison and everything he as overcame to get to the little boy God wants him to be. He is the light of our lives. We are are blessed beyond measure.

He even did the opening for his graduation and he did such a great job.

And you know we had to have a little party when we got home. It is amazing how much fun $12 at the dollar can be. Decorations, 2 big gallons, and some hot wheels and super heroes.

Art Show

This week was the MUCH looked forward to ART SHOW. Harrison has been talking about and looking forward to his school art show for MONTHS. So this past Tuesday night we headed to preschool for the art show and the end of the year music program. He was looking forward to this art show so much because at this point he wants to be an artist when he grows up. :)
So here is our budding artist with some of his work.
 and showing off some more.
The it was off to the music portion of the evening. They all did so well and sang out great.
It did not hit me until I was going through pictures this is the LAST preschool program EVER!!! My boy is growing up way to fast. I have already had functions at school for next year how it it time for kindergarten already?

Christmas Program

HOW is my boy this BIG!! Harrison has had a major growth spurt, pants that were having to be rolled up a few weeks ago are now almost too short. Every time I look at him I think to myself, "how is he that big".

Last night was his Preschool Christmas program and it was by far the BEST we had been to, orgaized well, we were in and out in less than an hour and everyone was well behaved. And it will be our LAST preschool Christmas program.... sad day.

And we always have to take a couple pictures before the Christmas Program.

My boys along with the scary santa, that has been in the family for years and years, I used to be scared of him when I was little and this is the first year Harrison is not scared of him.

Harrison always wants to take our picture too. Then right before it was time to go after pitching a FIT this is how we found Harrison. Notice his arms are still crossed from being mad.

Harrison is in the middle under the second 's' in Jesus.

Walking out carrying his candle, again notice how BIG he is.
This was a GREAT way to get the kids our of sancuary  and back to thier rooms before the parent mob headed back.
Then we HAD to go get Ice Cream.... you know its a tradation.
And look at these cute crafts that came home with us that he has been working on at school.

Preschool Sharing Feast

Last week Harrison's preschool had a Thanksgiving Sharing Feast All the parents were invited and it was in the churches fellowship hall. It was PACKED. It was a fun time. Below is the super cute cake his teacher made. He wanted to make another one that he could eat for real thanksgiving but maybe a year when I am not cooking most of the meal. The legs were chocolate cake and the rest was a white cake... how cute.

Super Star Kind of Day

Today Harrison was the super star in his class and here is his poster all about him.

His friends not many kids have friends that they consider their best buds in four different states, pretty cool. And I wish I had taken a picture of his favorite foods, he drew an apple, strawberry, cheese stick, pickle, and an orange.

This week at preschool  Harrison had cowboy day, where he got to dress up and have a special campfire lunch, or "a cowboy fire camp" as Harrison called it. I got to help out with the lunch. It was a fun afternoon

First Day of Pre K

Today was the much needed first day of Preschool. Harrison has been counting down the days since we moved to the start of school. He is SO READY to meet some friends and enjoy his school time.  When I was taking his "first day of school picture" he told me that I did not need to take his picture since he had been to school before just not this school.

This year was so smooth, the other mama's were sticking around and he looked at me and told me I could go on and move :) This was such a nice change... how far he has come.  Last year we had to FIGHT to get him moved into the class with the kids his age because of the speech and sensory issues they wanted to hold him back. And the year before we were worried since he could not talk at all and the other kids made fun and said he sounded like a baby. This year was a GREAT first day :)

Now I am not for sure what I am going to do with myself this year. Before I have always had stuff to do at John's office or running for the office to do. But Now I don't have that to do... So we will see what I can get into. John and I are trying to keep up our lunch dates on school times.
Just a few faces of Harrison.
