MIA...

So for the past year ALOT has happened and I have NOT been updating this blog. My friend and I have our recipe blog and usually when I sit down a the computer that is where my time goes. I keep thinking I need to work on our personal blog, and just don't seem to get around to it. I SO enjoy looking back at past events on here and have found myself kicking myself more than once for not keeping track of events etc. SO I AM GETTING CAUGHT UP!!!! Keep in mind I have over a year worth of catching up to do.  I  have uploaded pictures from my phone while sitting in the car rider line and trying to go back and fill in the gaps. 2013 won't have the most detailed posts but at least when I look back years from now I won't think we fell in a hole for a year.

December 6th, 2012 we got the call that we were moving back to Kentucky and John was going to start a NEW State Farm office on JANUARY 1st 2013. So that started a whirlwind of moving, starting a new business, selling a house, finding a house, new schools etc.

We are back close to family and old friends which is great but I also notice it means that we are not making ourselves build new relationships. We have always been away from family and counted on friends to fill the gap so we are working on joining new friends and old dear friends.

Blogging Friends

This week my friend and co-blogger came to visit for a few days. We had so much fun working on our Foodie blog Recipes We Love . We had Lots of fun workin on our blog and planning things for the futrue.

What's Going On

I know I have not been blogging a lot lately, and I really don't have much of an excuse. I have been spending my normal time working on the recipe blog, http://www.recipeswelove1.blogspot.com/ and I just have not been carrying around my camera. I can blog without Pictures but the pictures remind me to blog about something.

Anyway, Just the same old stuff going on around the Parkhurst House. Harrison LOVES "school", and is really getting into the T ball thing, and is getting ready for a horse show in May. We had said what we would only do one sport at a time but since we use the riding as some therapic activity as well, and it is only 30 mins a week so we are doing Tball and riding right now. If he really gets interested in one sport we will focus on it.

We are looking forward to warmer weather. We have planted a few seeds in the garden but ready to really get going on it.

Most blogs, websites, magazines will put the whole grocery list on one sheet right now we have the grocery list below each day's meal so if you don't want to do the week's worth you don't have to go through all the recipes to see what you need. Let us know if you like it this way or all on one list better.

I have not tried it since there is really no way to make it gluten free but EVERYONE that has tried it, and there have been many try it, really LIKED it.

This one has also been tried by many and everyone liked it. It is SUPER EASY and makes a LOT I made it for super bowl and it was a hit.

Boring

Boring... I know the blog has been a bit boring lately. SORRY!  I don't think I have even touched my camera in a week and a half :(. I will get on it TODAY! then I will post some pictures for all you family out there that are missing pictures of our little red head wonder.

We are STILL here

We have been laying low and trying to stay warm. The weather is so yucky nothing exciting has been going on to blog about. I also have been working on the new recipe blog to get caught up. But we are still alive. Harrison and I are flying out Monday, as long as the weather lets us, to Oklahoma to visit some dear Friends. John will be staying home but Harrison and I can't wait. So once we get back home I will get back to blogging.

New Recipe Blog

I have not posted much the past few days because a friend of mine started a Facebook group for Friends to share recipes that they and their families enjoy. There was such a good response we thought we would transfer the recipes to a blog for easier access
