Disney

We took Harrison and Matthew  to Disney over spring break and we are all had a good time.  John got braces 2 days before we left so that was a little interesting but things went better than we expected, John and I are not Disney type of people.

Matthew LOVED the rides Harrison was not as sure. He did not want to get on anything but once the ride was over he said most of them were fun.

My poor baby looks just miserable.

 A Little derby fun  is always fun. We enjoy having our friends and family over for this fun tradition.

 And the boys had to have bow ties this year.

Easter 2014

 Easter is Harrison's favorite Holiday because he says it is the most important, since that is when Jesus died for our sins. We enjoyed having family and friends over after a sunrise service at church.

MIA...

So for the past year ALOT has happened and I have NOT been updating this blog. My friend and I have our recipe blog and usually when I sit down a the computer that is where my time goes. I keep thinking I need to work on our personal blog, and just don't seem to get around to it. I SO enjoy looking back at past events on here and have found myself kicking myself more than once for not keeping track of events etc. SO I AM GETTING CAUGHT UP!!!! Keep in mind I have over a year worth of catching up to do.  I  have uploaded pictures from my phone while sitting in the car rider line and trying to go back and fill in the gaps. 2013 won't have the most detailed posts but at least when I look back years from now I won't think we fell in a hole for a year.

December 6th, 2012 we got the call that we were moving back to Kentucky and John was going to start a NEW State Farm office on JANUARY 1st 2013. So that started a whirlwind of moving, starting a new business, selling a house, finding a house, new schools etc.

We are back close to family and old friends which is great but I also notice it means that we are not making ourselves build new relationships. We have always been away from family and counted on friends to fill the gap so we are working on joining new friends and old dear friends.

Not many families have been in 5 countries in the past 6 months, and children attended 3 schools! We are blessed beyond measure!

Matthew's10

Matthew turned 10 and the boys had birthday fun with some slip and slide and exploring in the creek behind our house. It seems like yesterday Matthew was born it is hard to believe he is already 10.

 The boys made sure to get good and soapy before their rides down the hill so they would slide super fast.

10 Years Later

10 Years and many more to go. The 3 of us headed out for a nice French dinner.
