a few Harrison Stories... what a silly boy

January 6, 2010

Harrison was being a little quite so I went looking for him to find the fridge and freezer doors standing wide open and Harrison on his step stool the counter breaking egg # 6 all over the counter. When he saw me he said, "bak bak eggs are YUCK", so I am sure that means he at one.
I don't know what would make a 3 year old get up from watching his movie and having a snack to go break raw eggs.

Harrison had been in bed for over two hours I thought he was a sleep but had not been in to check on him yet. Then out he comes with a diaper and wipes and about 20 wet spots on the front of his diaper. I asked him what happened and he said the "juice" aka any liquid, came from his diaper when his hands were in the diaper. So I guess he was having target practice in his bed.

I know we all do it we have to risk the chance of waking our children up each night to make sure they are breathing, all covered up, and maybe even sneak a kiss. That is exactly what I did, as I do every night before bed, only to come out and notice banana smeared all down the hallway wall. He better be glad he was asleep.

Within the two hours from getting up from his nap, Harrison, had popcorn, fruit snacks, milk, juice, and cheese and while he was drinking his orange juice he asked for an orange. I told him no he had more than enough. So he sat quietly and began to eat the orange rind and all, making the worst faces, but when I asked if it was good, he said, "yes ma'am its yummy"

So I broke down fixed supper gave it too him, we ate then I went back to the bedroom to get dressed before John got home so we could head out and I hear "Mama, Help me, help me" I go in to find Harrison Standing on the counter int he sun room, because he wanted to reach the banana in the kitchen window and could not get back down. I let him have the banana, which was not a good choice on my part since I still needed to get dressed. Once dressed I found the banana smeared all in his train tracks. And he was so upset that I could not make the banana whole again. I could not make this stuff up if I tried.

Again I was getting dressed, and hear the vacuum running. On my way to see what in the world was going on I hear, uh oh, and the vacuum was no longer running. I get into the kitchen and find Harrison with the small vacuum, which is now broke :) trying to clean up a whole box a cereal that was spilt on the floor. And I don't want to even think about how he got the box down from the top of the fridge.

We also played Go Fish for the first time and wouldn't you know Harrison won all three hands. He is just too smart for his own good.

And I will leave you with Harrison's way of eating salsa...
